The ceiling light carries the room's base lighting and acts as a focal point. Over a dining table, allow 60–70 cm between the tabletop and the lower edge of the fitting.

The fitting comes in 3 finishes — Plaster White And Gild, Burnished Silver Leaf and Gild And Gilded Plaster. Ideally, match it to the other metals in the room. The materials are brass.

It measures 81.3 cm in width and 75.6 cm in height. It weighs 12.7 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. It is a fitting in the larger format. Over a dining table you want the width to be roughly half the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.

The Benit Medium ceiling light is at its best in living rooms and dining rooms. Its character leans towards classic design and a modern idiom. Choose a warm-white bulb around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — the lighting needs to adjust between day and evening.

Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. You are welcome to visit the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
