brigitte-taklampa
Brigitte Ceiling Light — Palom Contreras for Visual Comfort & Co.

The Brigitte ceiling light is the result of Palom Contreras's collaboration with Visual Comfort & Co. The ceiling light provides the room's base lighting and acts as a focal point. Over a dining table, allow 60–70 cm between the tabletop and the lower edge of the fitting.

The Brigitte ceiling light is available in 2 finishes — Clear Glass And Polished Nickel and Clear Glass And Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.

It measures 88.9 cm in width and 59.1 cm in height. It weighs 10.4 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. It is a fitting in the larger format. Over a dining table you want the width to be roughly half the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.

The fitting works particularly well in living rooms and dining rooms. The light source is not included. We recommend a dimmable, warm white bulb of around 2700 K to bring out the best in the metal of the fitting.

We are happy to help with lighting planning — how many light points a room needs and where they should go.
