lightwell-taklampa-grande
Lightwell ceiling light, grande — Barbara Barry for Visual Comfort & Co.

The Lightwell Grande Ceiling Light is the result of a collaboration between Barbara Barry and Visual Comfort & Co. The ceiling light carries the ambient light of the room and doubles as a focal point. Over a dining table, allow 60–70 cm between the tabletop and the lower edge of the fixture.

The Lightwell Grande Ceiling Light is available in 2 finishes — Soft Brass With White Shades and Soft Brass With Black Shades. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are brass and glass.

The width is 132.1 cm. It weighs 10.9 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mounting before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. This is a fixture on the larger scale. Over a dining table, you ideally want the width to be roughly half that of the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.

The fixture works particularly well in living rooms and dining rooms. Its design language draws on classic modern. The light source is not included. We recommend a dimmable, warm white bulb of around 2700 K to bring out the best in the metal of the fixture.

We are happy to help with lighting planning — how many light points a room needs and where they should go.
