lorino-lykta
Lorino Lantern — Julie Neill for Visual Comfort & Co.

The Lorino lantern is designed by Julie Neill for Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the level of light in a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the top.

Choose between 3 finishes: Polished Nickel With White Glass, Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With White Glass and Bronze With White Glass. The tone of the metal affects how warm the light feels. The materials are nickel & chrome.

The width is 55.9 cm. It weighs 10.4 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. The size is balanced for normal ceiling heights and works over most dining tables without dominating.

We recommend the Lorino lantern for hallways and living rooms. We recommend a dimmable bulb with a warm colour temperature, around 2700 K. That is where brass and nickel render their tones best.

At Visual Comfort & Co., the finishes are applied by hand, which means no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Small variations in the surface are intended and part of the character. Julie Neill is one of the designers the house works with.

Unsure about the size?
