Colefax & Fowler presents Mellar in the Romilly collection – a future classic that unites a timeless animal print with exceptional textile craftsmanship. The fabric's cut and looped velvet technique creates a lively surface with subtle depth, where mottled yarn sections and variations in shade at the centre of the pattern give a sophisticated, tactile feel. It is a textile that adds refined character without taking over the room.

Mellar's rich texture and elegant lustre make it an excellent choice for upholstered armchairs and sofas as well as full curtains and beautiful cushions. The soft velvet pile gives the fabric a pleasing weight and creates a cosy atmosphere. The fabric is available in five colourways, including muted Bone and Aqua as well as more pronounced tones such as Old Blue, Sienna and Red.
