mollino-taklampa
Mollino ceiling light — AERIN for Visual Comfort & Co.

Behind the Mollino ceiling light is AERIN, designer for Visual Comfort & Co. The ceiling light carries the room's base lighting and acts as a focal point. Over a dining table, allow 60–70 cm between the tabletop and the lower edge of the fitting.

The fitting comes in 3 finishes — Polished Nickel With Plaster White Shade, Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With Plaster White Shade and Bronze With Plaster White Shade. Ideally, match it to the other metals in the room. The materials are nickel & chrome.

It measures 63,5 cm in width and 44,4 cm in height. It weighs 17,2 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. It is a fitting in the larger format. Over a dining table you want the width to be roughly half the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.

The Mollino ceiling light is at its best in living rooms, dining rooms and hallways. The look leans towards a modern design language. Choose a warm-white bulb around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — the lighting needs to adjust between day and evening.

Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. You are welcome to visit the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
