The house was founded in 1861 as Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.

The pattern repeat is 46.5 cm, which makes it a medium-sized repeat. The scale is well judged — the pattern reads clearly without dominating the wall. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies the making-up. Brophy Embroidery is available in 3 colourways — Bayleaf, Indigo and Wine. The same design can come across quite differently depending on the colourway.

Brophy Embroidery comes from Melsetter Fabric & Weaves. The pattern is embroidered rather than printed, giving a tactile surface with relief.

The fabric is 137.5 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend.

Brophy Embroidery is at its best in living rooms and bedrooms. The look combines a classic poise, elegance and timelessness, on a mid-tone ground. Mix with plain fabrics for balance, and let the pattern sit where it will be seen.

You are welcome to visit the showroom on Sturegatan if you would like to see the whole collection.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0536/4586/9248/products/Morris-And-Co-Tyg-Brophy-Embroidery-Bayleaf-236813-1.jpg?v=1629129233
