morris-co-tyg-willow-bough-8
Morris & Co Fabric Willow Bough

Behind Willow Bough stands William Morris, who drew the pattern in 1887. It is one of the motifs that has carried Morris & Co through more than a century without feeling dated.

The pattern repeat is 45,0 cm, which makes it a medium repeat. The scale is well judged — the pattern reads clearly without dominating the wall. The pattern is a straight match, which makes hanging simpler. Willow Bough is available in 3 colourways — Woad, Leaf Green and Russet/Ochre. Try the fabric on a piece of furniture with our visualisation tool before you decide. The same design can come across quite differently depending on the colourway.

Willow Bough comes from the Little Book of Morris collection.

The fabric is 137 cm wide and woven from a cotton blend. With 55 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

Willow Bough is shown to best advantage in living rooms and bedrooms. Its character combines a classic poise, a closeness to nature and timelessness, with a light overall tone. Mix with plain fabrics for balance, and put the pattern where it will be seen.

You are welcome to visit the showroom on Sturegatan if you would like to see the whole collection.
