It is the same principle as in a handwoven blanket, translated to the floor.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe rug is handwoven in India in wool with touches of cotton. The flat weave makes the rug thin and stable, easy to lay beneath furniture and easy to turn for even wear. The wool takes colour deeply and holds it, and the dense striping hides everyday dust better than a plain rug.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt comes in two characters: a cool one in grey, sage and beige, and a warm one in rust, brick and yellow. Both work in rooms with a lot of movement — a hallway, a dining area or a living room with children.
