Who is Kelly Wearstler?
Kelly Wearstler founded her design firm KWID in the mid-1990s and quickly became one of the driving forces behind the design revolution in luxury hotels. The New Yorker has called her the presiding grande dame of West Coast interior design, and today her work spans hotels, restaurants, private homes and product design.
With a background in the film industry, including set design and art direction, she has developed an eye for storytelling through space. Every interior she creates has a mood, a dramatic edge, almost like a film set. It is that quality that makes her lighting so special.
