Behind the Farfalle Large wall light is Julie Neill, a designer for Visual Comfort & Co. A wall light lifts the light off the floor and creates shadow and depth. Used in pairs — around a mirror, a painting, a bed — the effect is calmer than overhead lighting.
The finish is Burnished Silver Leaf. The material is nickel & chrome.
It measures 40.6 cm wide and 69.8 cm high. It weighs 2.3 kg — worth checking against the mounting point before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. This is a wall light in the larger format — give it clear wall space around it.
The Farfalle Large wall light shows to best advantage in the hallway, bedroom and living room. Choose a warm white bulb around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — the lighting needs to adapt between day and evening.
Visual Comfort & Co. works with invited designers rather than an in-house studio. That is why the range spans everything from restrained neoclassical to overtly decorative — each series bears the signature of its creator. Julie Neill is one of the designers the house works with.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. Do come into the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
