Small rustic chest in antique dark grey from Jonathan Charles is a bedside table that carries all the finest qualities of the British furniture-making tradition. It belongs to the JC Edited - Casually Country collection, firmly rooted in a relaxed country style with modern touches. Here, light wood and natural finishes come together in a design inspired by a modern interpretation of country life, and Small rustic chest in antique dark grey carries that whole aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. Made by Jonathan Charles's craftspeople, with every layer of finish, every cut and every joint done by hand — a process that takes time but gives the furniture a depth that cannot be copied. At home, Small rustic chest in antique dark grey works as the practical bedside companion in the bedroom. The proportions are carefully judged so the piece holds its own without taking over — exactly the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Pair with soft textiles and an evening lamp for a calm bedroom feel. A piece that does more than serve a purpose — it also anchors the room in a long tradition of crafted quality.
