Small Four-Drawer Chest in Crackle Ceramic Lacquer is a bedside table that captures the Jonathan Charles signature style: antique-inspired, handbuilt and made to be passed down through generations. It belongs to the JC Modern - Eclectic collection, which is firmly rooted in a playful mix of styles and eras. Here, varied woods and expressive surfaces come together in a design inspired by the well-read collector, and Small Four-Drawer Chest in Crackle Ceramic Lacquer carries that whole aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. Jonathan Charles is known for its English craft heritage, where hand-carved details, classic veneering and multiple layers of hand-applied finish elevate every piece into something that lives on long beyond passing trends. At home, Small Four-Drawer Chest in Crackle Ceramic Lacquer works as a confident companion to the bed in the bedroom. The proportions are judged so that the piece holds its own without taking over — exactly the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Style with a discreet reading lamp, a vase and a small stack of books. A piece to live with for a long time, where every detail carries its part of the story.
