With a damask weave, Brocatello sits firmly within Zoffany's design language.
The pattern repeat is 76,2 cm, which makes it a large repeat. A repeat of that size is visible from a distance and sets the tone for the whole room. A straight pattern match keeps hanging uncomplicated. The colourway is Olivine.
Brocatello is part of Damask from Zoffany.
Each roll is 68,6 cm wide and 10,05 metres long, printed on paper. The weight is 153 g/m².
The pattern works particularly well in living rooms. The look carries a classic poise, elegance and a closeness to nature, with a mid-light base tone. Let the wall do the talking and keep the upholstery fabrics calm.
The palette is dominated by green — mid-light and muted in tone, with a warm undertone. Keep the room's other textiles in the same temperature and the whole scheme holds together.
Make sure the wall is smooth and primed before hanging. A pattern with a distinct repeat reveals unevenness that a plain surface would hide.
