The Axis floor lamp comes from Kelly Wearstler's collaboration with Visual Comfort & Co. A floor lamp fills a corner or stands beside an armchair, where it gives directed light without needing a surface to stand on.
The Axis floor lamp is available in 2 finishes — Antique-Burnished Brass and Bronze. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The material is brass.
It measures 15.2 cm wide and 114.3 cm high. It weighs 7.7 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks.
The fitting works particularly well in studies, bedrooms and living rooms. The bulb is not included. We recommend dimmable and warm white, about 2700 K, so that the metal of the fitting shows at its best.
Visual Comfort & Co. builds its range around collaborations with interior designers. The fittings are made in solid metal with hand-applied finishes, which means they age rather than wear. Kelly Wearstler is one of the designers the house works with.
