The Iris fabric from Manuel Canovas is built on a textured surface.

The pattern repeat is 1.0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The close repeat gives a calm, almost textured surface from a distance. A straight pattern match keeps making up straightforward. Iris is available in 40 colourways — Blanc, Neige, Ivoire, Sable and more. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Iris - Spr 22 collection.

The fabric is 138 cm wide and woven in a synthetic blend. A Martindale rating of 17 000 rubs makes it suitable for upholstery.

We recommend Iris for living rooms and bedrooms. The look combines timelessness, elegance and a relaxed feel, on a very light ground. It works as well for curtains as for upholstery — keep the other textiles in the room simple.

The palette is dominated by beige, very light and soft in tone with a warm undertone. Consider which way the room faces — north light pulls colours cooler than they appear on screen.

Try the fabric on a piece of furniture with our visualisation tool before you decide. Look at it in both daylight and lamplight, as the tones shift between the two.
