Pure Honeysuckle & Tulip Sheer Wide Width from Morris & Co draws on floral motifs in the tradition the house has worked in since the 19th century, here woven in double width.

The 301 cm width is the whole point: you sew floor-length curtains without a join, with the fabric railroaded. What would otherwise take several drops becomes a single one here.

The pattern repeat is 74 cm — a large repeat, so allow extra fabric for pattern matching. The colourway is Soft Blue/Linen.

Simply Wide Width, the collection this pattern belongs to, is Morris & Co's answer to a practical question: how do you get the house's classic designs into curtain drops without a join? The range includes dense weaves as well as transparent sheers.

This quality is a fine, semi-sheer weave in 100% cotton that filters the light — hang it closest to the window, on its own or beneath a heavier curtain.
