Pure Scroll from Morris & Co is built around stripes, drawn with the richness of detail that characterises the house's designs. The house was founded in 1861 as Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.
The pattern repeat is 21.3 cm, which makes it a small repeat. From a distance, the pattern reads almost as a texture rather than a motif. A straight match makes hanging straightforward. Pure Scroll comes in 4 colourways — White Clover, Gilver, Ink and Lightish Grey. Try the wallpaper in your own room with our visualisation tool before you decide. The same design can turn out quite differently depending on the colourway.
Pure Scroll comes from Pure Morris North. The Pure series keeps the patterns in white, linen and grey, letting texture rather than colour carry the look. It works where a full-colour pattern would be too much.
Each roll is 68.6 cm wide and 10.05 metres long, printed on paper. The weight is 206 g/m².
Pure Scroll is at its best in living rooms and hallways. The look has a classic poise, elegance and closeness to nature, with a very light overall tone. Pair it with plain textiles and wood in a natural tone, and the pattern has room to come into its own.
You are welcome to visit the showroom on Sturegatan if you would like to see the whole collection.
