Gesso, created by the acclaimed American designer Kelly Wearstler for Lee Jofa and the Kelly Wearstler Echelon Wallcovering collection, unites architectural structure with a tactile, handcrafted feel. The pattern is built on a sophisticated grid in which ribbed panels running in alternating directions meet and create a lively play of light and shadow. The surface has an expressive texture inspired by hand-applied plaster, giving the wall extraordinary depth and a subtle three-dimensional character. The geometric expression feels both soft and monumental, making the wallpaper an artistic presence in the room without overpowering the rest of the interior.

The artisanal texture adds a quiet elegance that suits contemporary and classic settings equally well. In a bedroom or living room, the sculptural surface creates a cosy, restful atmosphere, while in a hallway or dining room it serves as an elegant backdrop to both dark woods and modern metals. The combination of the designer's sense of form and the material's unique character makes Gesso a timeless choice if you are looking for a discreet yet characterful wallcovering with plenty of personality.
