The Style Guide View all in The Style Guide

One style. Many expressions.

Brittfurn's Modern Classics is timeless, international and considered. Here we explore how the style takes shape as warm and inviting, graphic and urban, or exclusive and grand. Expressions that can stand on their own, or meet in a personal whole.

Lanterns

The lantern is one of lighting's most timeless forms. Hanging in the hallway, entrance or stairwell, it filters the light through the glass and creates a welcoming feeling right from the door.

Choose a ceiling lantern in proportion to the room: in a generous hallway the lantern can happily take up space, while in the stairwell a smaller model does the job without imposing. The metal finish – brass, bronze or black – sets the tone, and the glass determines how softly the light lands.

Here we bring together ceiling lanterns and lanterns from Vaughan and Visual Comfort & Co – British and American craftsmanship in classic forms. Shop online or experience them in our showroom at Sturegatan 20 in Stockholm.
