Maitai from the Italian fabric house Dedar in Milan is a semi-transparent curtain weave with a sophisticated, lively look. Its structure takes inspiration from natural raffia, with carefully woven threads of varying thickness and character creating a subtle relief across the surface. The semi-transparent barré stripe lets light filter delicately through the weave, giving the room a soft, changing daylight and a sense of airy elegance. A discreet yet eye-catching accent thread in a lively colour breaks up the natural base and adds a dynamic, almost tropical energy to the whole.
