The Abigail Large wall light is one of Visual Comfort & Co.'s in-house designs. A wall light lifts the light off floor level and creates shadow and depth. Used in pairs — around a mirror, a painting, a bed — the effect is calmer than overhead lighting.
The Abigail Large wall light comes in 3 finishes — Polished Nickel And Clear Wavy Glass With Linen Shade, Soft Brass And Clear Wavy Glass With Linen Shade and Bronze And Clear Wavy Glass With Linen Shade. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.
It measures 13.3 cm in width and 45.7 cm in height. It weighs 1.4 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mount before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. Its slim width means it takes up little space, which is an advantage in corridors and around mirrors.
The fitting works particularly well in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. The bulb is not included. We recommend a dimmable, warm white bulb of around 2700 K to bring out the fitting's metal at its best.
