Behind the Axis wall light, 18 inch, is Kelly Wearstler, designer for Visual Comfort & Co. Wall lights work with the depth of a room rather than its base lighting. A pair flanking a mirror or a bed gives a softer light than a single point in the ceiling.
The fitting comes in 2 finishes — Polished Nickel and Antique-Burnished Brass. It is worth matching them to the other metals in the room. The materials are nickel & chrome.
It measures 45.7 cm wide and 7.6 cm high. It weighs 1.8 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. This is a wall light in the larger format — give it clear wall space around it.
The Axis wall light, 18 inch, is at its best in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. Choose a warm white bulb around 2700 K and ideally fit a dimmer — lighting needs to be able to shift between day and evening.
Lighting is hard to judge from a photograph. Do come into the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting switched on.
