The Axis Medium wall light comes from Kelly Wearstler's collaboration with Visual Comfort & Co. A wall light lifts the light off floor level and creates shadow and depth. Used in pairs — around a mirror, a painting, a bed — the effect is calmer than overhead lighting.
The Axis Medium wall light comes in 3 finishes — Polished Nickel, Antique-Burnished Brass and Bronze. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are nickel & chrome.
It measures 11.4 cm in width and 50.2 cm in height. It weighs 1.4 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mount before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. Its slim width means it takes up little space, which is an advantage in corridors and around mirrors.
The fitting works particularly well in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. The bulb is not included. We recommend a dimmable, warm white bulb of around 2700 K to bring out the fitting's metal at its best.
