Baroda, from Nina Campbell's collection of the same name, brings a sophisticated, cosy feel to the room. The woven velvet takes its elegant inspiration from antique Persian rugs, clearly reflected in the grand geometric pattern and rich texture. The blend of viscose and cotton gives the surface a pleasing softness and subtle lustre, while the fabric holds its shape and falls in heavy, beautiful folds when draped.

Thanks to its high quality and durability, Baroda is suitable for upholstery and is excellent for re-covering both classic armchairs and modern sofas. The geometric motif also looks particularly good on scatter cushions and patterned curtains, where the texture of the textile can take centre stage. With its well-judged weight and pattern construction, the fabric creates an interesting visual dynamic in the room without dominating the overall impression.
