Within the Cathay Weaves collection, Nina Campbell presents Bohai, a soft, textured jacquard with a velvety finish. The weaving technique creates a subtle depth in the surface, with light reflecting softly across the material and giving the room a quiet elegance. The plain fabric's muted Silver shade works as a versatile base in the interior and harmonises beautifully with neighbouring shades such as slate grey, platinum and cool natural tones.

The fabric is made in Italy from a fine balance of 63 % viscose and 37 % cotton, creating a supple feel with a natural, full drape. With a width of 141 cm and a weight of 530 g/m², Bohai suits heavy curtain lengths and elegant scatter cushions equally well. The fabric stands up very well to upholstery thanks to a very high abrasion resistance of 100 000 Martindale, making it a durable choice for both heavily used sofas and public spaces. As the fabric has no pattern repeat at all, cutting is straightforward and the surface has a uniform look.
