Jonathan Charles's Chinoiserie chest of drawers is a chest of drawers carefully crafted to turn the essential into something worth noticing. It belongs to the JC Modern - Eclectic collection, which is firmly rooted in a playful mix of styles and eras. Here, varied woods and expressive surfaces come together in a design inspired by the well-read collector, and the Chinoiserie chest of drawers carries that whole aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. Jonathan Charles builds its furniture the way it used to be made: with solid wood, hand-carved accents and a patinated finish that only grows more beautiful with the years. At home, the Chinoiserie chest of drawers serves as spacious storage with character in the bedroom, hallway or walk-in wardrobe. Its proportions are judged so that the piece holds its own without taking over — exactly the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Style the top with a mirror, a pair of lamps and a tasteful tray. If you are looking for a piece with longevity — in both time and character — this is an investment that only grows with the years.
