Behind Cross Bouillotte Large Wall Light is Chapman & Myers, designer for Visual Comfort & Co. Wall lights work with a room's depth rather than its general light. Two flanking a mirror or a bed give a softer light than a single point in the ceiling.
The fitting is available in 3 finishes — Antique Burnished Brass With Linen Shade, Bronze With Linen Shade and Polished Nickel With Linen Shade. Consider matching it to the other metals in the room. The material is brass.
The dimensions are 39.4 cm wide and 38.1 cm high. It weighs 1 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mount before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. This is a wall light in the larger format — give it free wall space around it.
Cross Bouillotte Large Wall Light is at its best in the hallway, bedroom and living room. Choose a warm white bulb around 2700 K and ideally connect a dimmer — the lighting needs to adjust between day and evening.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. Do visit the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
