Behind David 24" Picture Light is Thomas O'Brien, designer for Visual Comfort & Co. A fitting that does as much for the character of a room as for its light.
The fitting is available in 3 finishes — Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Bronze, Bronze and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass. Consider matching it to the other metals in the room. The material is brass.
The dimensions are 61 cm wide and 9.6 cm high. It weighs 2 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mount before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks.
David 24" Picture Light is at its best in the living room. Choose a warm white bulb around 2700 K and ideally connect a dimmer — the lighting needs to adjust between day and evening.
Visual Comfort & Co. works with invited designers rather than an in-house studio. That is why the range spans from restrained neoclassical to decidedly decorative — each series bears the mark of its creator. Thomas O'Brien is one of the designers the house works with.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. Do visit the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
