The Dorchester wall light is one of Visual Comfort & Co.'s in-house designs. A wall light lifts the light off the floor and creates shadow and depth. Used in pairs — around a mirror, a painting, a bed — the effect is calmer than overhead lighting.
Choose from 3 finishes: Antique-Burnished Brass With Silk Crown Shade, Antique-Burnished Brass With Black Shade and Antique-Burnished Brass With Black Paper Shade. The tone of the metal affects how warm the light feels. The material is brass.
It measures 48.9 cm wide and 38.1 cm high. It weighs 2.3 kg — worth checking against the mounting point before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. This is a wall light in the larger format — give it clear wall space around it.
We recommend the Dorchester wall light for the hallway, bedroom and living room. We recommend a dimmable bulb with a warm colour temperature, around 2700 K. That is where brass and nickel show their tones at their best.
