With Durlston, Colefax & Fowler celebrates the classic Jacobean tree-of-life tradition, rendered with an artistic and slightly relaxed feel. Part of the Hailsham collection, the fabric is adorned with a lively scene in which densely trailing foliage, flowers and birds come together in a harmonious composition. The print has a soft block-printed character that gives the design a natural depth and a lively patina.

The design is printed on a pure linen with a subtle herringbone weave, adding a wonderful visual texture and a tactile sense of craftsmanship. Durlston is a versatile fabric, as well suited to dramatic lengths of beautifully draping curtains as to covering armchairs or creating characterful scatter cushions. It brings a timeless English elegance with a sophisticated softness to the room.
