The French wall light is designed by Visual Comfort & Co. Wall lights work with a room's depth rather than its ambient light. A pair flanking a mirror or a bed gives a softer light than a single point in the ceiling.
The finish is Polished Nickel With Silk Shade. The material is nickel & chrome.
It measures 20.4 cm wide and 35.6 cm high. It weighs 1.4 kg — worth checking against the mounting point before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. Its slim width means it takes up little space, which is an advantage in corridors and around mirrors.
The French wall light shows to best advantage in the hallway, bedroom and living room. Choose a warm white bulb around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — the lighting needs to adapt between day and evening.
Visual Comfort & Co. works with invited designers rather than an in-house studio. That is why the range spans everything from restrained neoclassical to overtly decorative — each series bears the signature of its creator.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. Do come into the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
