Grammelot from the Italian fabric house Dedar is an expressive textile work that combines graphic precision with a tactile feel. The pattern recalls ancient cave paintings and abstract sign systems winding across the surface of the fabric in an architectural labyrinth. The tactile relief is created with an advanced printing technique using flocked and metallic details on a richly textured woven ground.
