The Halle wall light is designed by Visual Comfort & Co. Wall lights work with the depth of a room rather than its base lighting. A pair flanking a mirror or a bed gives a softer light than a single point in the ceiling.
The fitting comes in 3 finishes — Polished Nickel With Clear Glass, Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass And Polished Nickel With Clear Glass and Bronze And Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With Clear Glass. It is worth matching them to the other metals in the room. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.
It measures 18.4 cm wide and 61 cm high. It weighs 6.8 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. Its slim width means it takes up little space, which is an advantage in corridors and around mirrors.
The Halle wall light is at its best in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. Choose a warm white bulb around 2700 K and ideally fit a dimmer — lighting needs to be able to shift between day and evening.
Lighting is hard to judge from a photograph. Do come into the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting switched on.
