With the large mahogany demilune sideboard, Jonathan Charles presents a sideboard that breathes classicism, craftsmanship and well-judged proportion. It belongs to the Buckingham collection, which is firmly rooted in royal English tradition. Here, mahogany with hand-carved details and veneer work meets a design that draws inspiration from British stately homes, and the large mahogany demilune sideboard carries that entire aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. This is cabinetmaking in its most luxuriously traditional form — designed and crafted using methods that have barely changed in a hundred years. At home, the large mahogany demilune sideboard works as a statement sideboard for the entrance, in the dining room or hall. Its proportions are balanced so that the piece holds its place without taking over — exactly the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Use it as a serving surface at dinners — a classic function that never goes out of style. A piece that speaks Swedish as fluently as English — and gives the room the kind of weight that only fine craftsmanship can.
