The Contemporary Large Round Lamp Table in Eglomise – Gilt from Jonathan Charles is a side table that carries all the finest qualities of the British cabinetmaking tradition. It belongs to the JC Modern - Luxe collection, which is firmly rooted in understated luxury and contemporary elegance. Here matt finishes, polished surfaces and metal accents come together in a design inspired by modern city apartments, and the Contemporary Large Round Lamp Table in Eglomise – Gilt carries that whole aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. Every Jonathan Charles piece passes through the hands of specialist craftsmen — the joiner, the cabinetmaker, the marquetry artisan and the master finisher — before it is ready to leave the workshop. At home, the Contemporary Large Round Lamp Table in Eglomise – Gilt works as a side table that raises the level of detail in the room in the living room or bedroom. The proportions are carefully judged so that the piece holds its own without taking over — exactly the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Place it next to a favourite armchair or at the end of the sofa for practical elegance. A choice that rewards a careful eye — the longer you live with the piece, the more you discover.
