The Lorelei flush mount is designed by Julie Neill for Visual Comfort & Co. A flush mount sits close to the ceiling and gives an even light without taking up height. That makes it the natural choice for rooms with lower ceilings, hallways and passages.
The finish is Gild With Clear Glass. The materials are brass and glass.
It measures 45.7 cm in width and 30.5 cm in height. It weighs 8.2 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mount before installation. Delivery time is 8-10 weeks. With that diameter, the flush mount covers a larger room and can serve as the only ceiling fitting.
We recommend the Lorelei flush mount for hallways, bedrooms and kitchens. We recommend a dimmable bulb with a warm colour temperature, around 2700 K. That is where brass and nickel show their tones at their best.
At Visual Comfort & Co., the finishes are applied by hand, which means no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Small variations in the surface are intentional and part of the character. Julie Neill is one of the designers the house works with.
