Nenufar from the distinguished Italian textile house Dedar in Milan is an outstanding jacquard that evokes the quiet world of water lilies and the painterly expression of Impressionism. Its complex pattern is created through a meticulous craft process in which the warp is carefully printed before weaving. When the warp threads are then woven together with two different wefts on traditional jacquard looms, a tactile, vibrant surface of remarkable visual depth emerges. The rippled texture means the character of the textile shifts beautifully with the changing light in the room, creating an ever-changing visual experience.

The blend of natural wool, lustrous viscose and recycled polyester gives Nenufar a soft, supple feel with a heavy, very elegant drape. The fabric is particularly well suited to grand curtains that beautifully catch the daylight and give the room a cosy feel.
