With natural motifs, Bois Brule Noir sits firmly within the Nobilis design language.
The pattern repeat is 1.0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The small scale keeps the pattern discreet enough to carry an entire room. A straight match makes hanging straightforward.
Bois Brule Noir is part of Les Bois Essentiels from Nobilis.
The wallpaper is sold by the metre in a 122 cm width.
The pattern works particularly well in living rooms. The look carries a classic poise, a modern touch and sophisticated restraint, with a very dark base tone. Let the wall do the talking and keep the upholstery fabrics calm.
The palette is dominated by black: very dark and deep in tone, with a warm undertone. Keep the other textiles in the room at the same temperature, and the whole scheme holds together.
Make sure the wall is smooth and primed before hanging. A pattern with a clear repeat reveals unevenness that a plain surface hides.
