With its floral motifs, Nympheas sits firmly within the Nobilis design language.
The pattern repeat is 65.0 cm, which makes it a large repeat. A repeat of that size is visible from a distance and sets the tone for the whole room. A straight match makes hanging straightforward. Nympheas comes in 2 colourways. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you a muted room or a light one.
Nympheas is part of Stenope from Nobilis.
The wallpaper is sold by the metre in a 135 cm width.
The pattern works particularly well in living rooms. The look has a closeness to nature, timelessness and a relaxed feel, with a medium-light overall tone. Let the wall do the talking and keep the upholstery fabrics calm.
The palette is dominated by green, medium-light and muted in tone with a cool undertone. Keep the room's other textiles at the same temperature, and the whole will hold together.
Make sure the wall is smooth and primed before hanging. A pattern with a distinct repeat reveals unevenness that a plain surface would hide.
