Pembury from Colefax & Fowler is an evocative tribute to antique kilim textiles, presented in the confident Pendine collection. Its lively geometric motifs run in elegant vertical stripes across a heavy herringbone ground. Dense chain-stitch embroidery gives a fascinating depth, recalling well-preserved handcrafted treasures. The result is a fabric that balances strict geometry with a warm, genuinely handcrafted feel, adding both character and history to the interior.

The full blend of materials gives the fabric a pleasing weight and a soft, textured surface. Pembury is ideal both for draped curtains that give the room a cosy frame and for upholstery on armchairs or chairs, where its rich texture really comes into its own.
