The Piper pattern from Jane Churchill belongs to the Kingswood collection and offers a colourful, contemporary take on the classic tree-of-life motif. Generous ground areas, full forms and expressive lines give the design a sense of artistic spontaneity and traditional craftsmanship. Sweeping leaves, decorative seed pods and stylised flowers lend the fabric a playful yet sophisticated character with strong visual impact. Each colourway has its own distinct expression, from harmoniously muted shades to bold, uplifting colours that set the tone of the room.

This versatile textile is particularly well suited to both draped curtain lengths and upholstered furniture, where the quality of the weave gives a fine drape and a pleasing feel. At large windows the vertical movement of the pattern comes into its own, while smaller pieces such as armchairs or decorative cushions become elegant focal points. Pairing Piper with more neutral base fabrics and natural woods creates a balanced interior in which the pattern's artistic elements can take centre stage with graceful elegance without overwhelming their surroundings. The result is a welcoming space full of character, warmth and timeless charm.
