Rene from Jane Churchill is an expressive upholstery and curtain fabric from the versatile Gustav collection. The fabric is distinguished by a lively ikat-style chevron pattern, woven in soft chenille that creates horizontal stripes with a lovely interplay of colour. The geometric look is balanced by the textured weave, giving the surface tactile depth and a sophisticated handcrafted feel. The balanced palette means the pattern draws attention without taking over the room, contributing to a warm, inviting feel in classic and modern settings alike.

This versatile fabric is well suited to upholstering armchairs, sofas and chairs, where the dense chenille surface comes into its own and withstands daily use. It likewise creates an elegant drape in heavy curtains, as well as decorative cushions that add character and dynamism to the room. Pair Rene with plain textiles in linen, wool or velvet to bring out the pattern's unique rhythm and tactile texture. With its fine balance of texture, colour and geometric form, the fabric becomes a timeless cornerstone of your interior.
