Dune Hares from Sanderson is built around animal motifs, drawn with the richness of detail that characterises the house's designs. The house was founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson in Islington, London.
The pattern repeat is 76.2 cm, which makes it a large repeat. At that scale, the pattern becomes the focal point of the room. Allow a margin in your quantity calculation for the pattern match. A straight pattern match makes hanging straightforward. The colourway is Mist/Pebble.
Dune Hares comes from the Embleton Bay collection.
Each roll is 68.6 cm wide and 10.05 metres long, printed on paper. The weight is 156 g/m².
Dune Hares is at its best in living rooms and hallways. The look has closeness to nature, a relaxed feel and timelessness, with a very light base tone. Combine with plain textiles and natural-toned wood to give the pattern room to breathe.
The palette is dominated by beige, very light and soft in tone with a neutral undertone. That determines what it works with: a cool undertone wants cool neighbours, a warm one sits well with wood and brass.
Do come into the showroom on Sturegatan if you would like to see the whole collection.
