The Andhara fabric from Sanderson is built on floral motifs. The house was founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson in Islington, London.

The pattern repeat is 68.0 cm, which makes it a large repeat. That makes the pattern a distinct feature that carries a room on its own — allow for extra material when matching the pattern. The pattern is a straight match, which makes hanging easier. Andhara comes in 4 colourways — Seaglass, Teal/Cream, Saffron/Teal and Rose/Cream. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Caspian Prints & Embroideries collection. The pattern is embroidered rather than printed, which gives a tactile surface with relief.
