Tamarisk chest of drawers from Jonathan Charles is a chest of drawers that carries all the finest qualities of the British furniture-making tradition. It belongs to the JC Edited - Tamarisk collection, firmly rooted in soft coastal elegance. Here, bleached wood and pale surfaces come together in a design inspired by coastal living, and Tamarisk chest of drawers carries that whole aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. Every Jonathan Charles piece passes through the hands of specialist craftspeople — the joiner, the cabinetmaker, the marquetry artisan and the master finisher — before it is ready to leave the workshop. At home, Tamarisk chest of drawers works as a statement chest of drawers in the bedroom, hallway or dressing room. The proportions are carefully judged so the piece holds its own without taking over — exactly the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Let the handles take centre stage — they are a large part of its character. A choice that rewards a careful eye — the longer you live with the piece, the more you discover.
