The Italian textile house Dedar combines graphic restraint with tactile softness in the fabric Upupa. The classic zigzag pattern, or chevron, is interpreted here in an entirely new way through a tactile weave. The spontaneous look is created by rich, soft yarns that give the surface life and wonderful depth. The result is a versatile textile that balances a modern style with an inviting, warm feel. Carefully selected fibres are woven together to strike a harmonious balance between aesthetics and function. The slightly raised texture of the fabric gives furniture and interior details an architectural dimension without losing its natural softness.

Upupa is exceptionally well suited to fully upholstered sofas and armchairs as well as elegant curtains and decorative cushions. The sublime pattern and sophisticated colours allow the fabric to blend with both classic and modern settings. In a living room, its muted elegance contributes to a harmonious whole, while in a bedroom it creates a cosy, restful atmosphere. Dedar's Milanese craftsmanship is clearly visible in the high quality and the considered texture. Choosing Upupa gives a room a discreet yet characterful look that stands the test of time and deepens the visual experience of the home.
