Wembury from Colefax & Fowler is a sophisticated plain fabric with a pronounced crafted feel. Part of the Bampton collection, the fabric stands out for its dry, linen-like texture and an appearance reminiscent of antique hand-woven textiles. Using fibre-dyed yarns in the warp creates a subtle play of both colour depth and texture, giving the surface life without losing its understated character.

This versatile fabric is ideal for full curtain drops and hard-wearing upholstery alike. As a curtain, Wembury hangs with a natural weight and softness, while as a cover on an armchair or sofa it adds a pleasing, timeless character. The fabric also looks lovely as scatter cushions to balance more patterned textiles in the room.

Wembury comes in ten muted and elegant colourways, among them the tones Ivory, Natural, Forest and Old Blue. The neutral, nature-inspired shades make it easy to pair the fabric with classic patterns or let it stand on its own in a pared-back, harmonious setting.
