With 1930s console table in gilded Anthracite shagreen, Jonathan Charles presents a console table that breathes classicism, craftsmanship and well-judged proportion. It belongs to the JC Modern - Luxe collection, firmly rooted in understated luxury and contemporary elegance. Here, matt finishes, polished surfaces and metal accents come together in a design inspired by modern city apartments, and 1930s console table in gilded Anthracite shagreen carries that whole aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. This is furniture making in its most luxuriously traditional form — designed and crafted using methods that have barely changed in a hundred years. At home, 1930s console table in gilded Anthracite shagreen works as an elegant link between rooms in the hallway, behind the sofa or along a long wall. The proportions are carefully judged so the piece holds its own without taking over — exactly the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Stand the table along a long wall and let it work as a still life as people move through the room. A piece that speaks Swedish as fluently as English — and gives the room the kind of weight only fine craftsmanship can.
