District, created by the acclaimed American designer Kelly Wearstler for Lee Jofa, is a powerful homage to modernist architecture and abstract art. Part of the Kelly Wearstler Wallpapers V collection, the pattern is defined by large-scale, overlapping geometric shapes that interlock in a dynamic puzzle. The surface has a subtle, painterly texture that brings depth and movement to the walls. With its balance of crisp lines and soft blocks of colour, the pattern creates an architectural feel that turns the room into a sophisticated, artistic setting.
District works beautifully as a dramatic feature wall in a living room, or wrapped around an entire dining room or spacious hallway. The carefully chosen colourways range from muted, earthy tone-on-tone combinations to bold, high-contrast compositions, making it easy to set the mood you want in the interior. The wallpaper's graphic character pairs particularly well with clean woods, natural textiles and sculptural furniture. Together with considered lighting, the nuances of the pattern come forward and create a lively interplay of light and shadow across the whole surface.
